A silver trailer chassis is attached to a white SUV parked on a gravel drive outside a metal shed. Several people are working near the shed entrance, which is surrounded by trees and lush greenery, highlighting a sustainable timber construction project.
A person works on a spruce wooden structure inside a workshop with exposed beams and corrugated metal walls. Piles of timber, tools, and a high-visibility orange jacket are visible on the workbench.
Two people work on a sustainable wooden frame of birch or spruce inside a barn, whilst someone approaches from outside. Sheep graze on a grassy hill in the background beneath a partly cloudy sky.
Three people work together in a large shed, assembling or sorting stacks of birch plywood. Tools and wood pieces are scattered on the workbench, and the shed has a high timber frame ceiling and corrugated metal walls.

New Zealand Cabin, half the world away…

Sending files to create projects has the potential to reach many parts of the planet. We worked with a sheep farming family in rural New Zealand to deliver a tiny home for friends and guest to stay in on their land.

Finding the equivalent materials on the other side of the world proved a cost effective task. The only thing transferred from the UK was done digitally. Information and knowledge via email and video calls was enough to get this project underway and completed.

Built in a barn on the family farm over the Christmas holidays made for a unique bonding experience as well as a chance to learn some new skills.

Finished in corrugated galvanised steel sheets to keep out the rain, this cabin should serve as a great place to retreat for many years to come.
