Barefoot Opera – Stage Design

We were approached by the creative team at Barefoot Opera to help them with a demountable stage set for their touring show ‘Orfeo ed Euridice’, a modern interpretation of the ancient Greek tragedy.

We supplied them with a series of modular boxes which they decorated and used to build the demountable set. Everything was designed to fit into a small van they could take with them, with the boxes also doubling as storage.

The show has since toured the country, including a week of performances for Grimeborn festival at London’s Arcola Theatre and was recently nominated for an #offie award.

They haven’t looked back 😉
